The research, analyzed 608 individuals with heart disease. Analysts tested the people’s telomere length at the beginning of the research and then 5 years later. They also tested omega-3 blood levels as well.
Research results demonstrated that the people who had the greatest levels of omega-3 oils in the blood had the slowest rates of telomere shortening in 5 years. But people who had the lower levels of omega-3 oils in blood telomere shortening was way more fast.
The research results show that omega-3 oils can be useful in securing cells from early ageing, and can eve explain why omega-3 oils are very good for keeping a healthy heart. Well the scientists stated that much more investigations are necessary for Omega-3 benefits.
